Deming Pediatrics offers comprehensive care for children from newborn through the teen years, from annual checkups to sports physicals to care for illnesses, broken bones, bumps and bruises.


We offer well child and sick visits for infants, children, adolescents and young adults. We also offer immunizations and developmental evaluations. Free Preventive Care Services


Keeping your family and yourself healthy includes preventive care. Often, insurance plans cover preventive services without charging a co-pay or co-insurance — even if you haven't met your yearly deductible.


In fact, all plans offered through the new health insurance Marketplace (established by the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called "Obamacare") are required to cover certain preventive services at no cost to patients.

If you have health insurance through another source, such as an employer or broker, the requirement for 100% coverage may not yet apply. However, most traditional plans still cover preventive services, and some may include full coverage.

Francine Jacobs, M.D., FAAP

Certification: American Board of Pediatrics

Medical School: Dr. Jacobs is a board certified pediatrician who received her medical degree in 1999 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She then completed a residency in pediatrics at University Hospital at Stony Brook, where she served as Chief Resident even after her residency was completed. Following her postgraduate training, Dr. Jacobs began practicing at the Elsie Owens N. Brookhaven Health Center, while simultaneously teaching Clinical Pediatrics at the University Hospital at Stony Brook.
